Roughly 12-13 years ago, I was at a tremendous crossroads as a single Mom, newly divorced wondering how in the world would I be able to afford health insurance. Of course, this would not go over well publicly – with family, friends, colleagues. They would definitely panic “for me” and “what if” me into oblivion. So I told no one! It was my little secret until NOW.
