Conscious Uncoupling: How to Overcome Divorce Challenges Creatively and Collaboratively

April 3, 2014

Yesterday, I interviewed the delightful Michelle Crosby of Wevorce. It was such an excellent time as we were almost like two peas in a pod. We share very similar views of relationships and the possibility of transitioning out of a marriage. I loved what she said about “divorce” being a relationship issue with legal implications…instead of the reverse that is our common way of thinking. In any case, here’s the original show description, Michelle’s bio and a link to listen! Enjoy!

It’s so exciting that Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin have broughtMC headshot to the public’s attention an alternative way to divorce and they have termed it “conscious uncoupling”. In this episode, I am joined by Michelle Crosby founder of Wevorce where we will discuss how Wevorce can help people to divorce collaboratively. Though this type of collaborative divorce may not work for all couples, Michelle will help us understand who it is for, how the process works and what she thinks about Paltrow and Martin! Don’t miss this hot-topic episode that I know will stimulate a shift in our thinking regarding divorce as necessitating high conflict to one of simply moving out of a married relationship and into roles as supportive co-parents.
